Lillian Rose Hicks' Obituary
Lillian Rose (Solomon) Hicks, was born in Rainer, WA on June 12, 1925 and died October 25th 2017.
Graduated high school in Yelm, WA. Married Donald Charles Hicks Aug. 14, 1945.
She had 6 children, Casey, Donald Michael, John, Lillian Kay, Catherine and Susan. She also had 11
grandchildren, and many great grand children, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Her love for travel was done mostly on cruise ships for as much as 3 months at a time. Her travels took her to Bangkok, Australia, Hong Kong, Heathrow, Dover, Brazil, Peru, Chile, the Amazon, Ecuador, and Falkland Islands just to name a few.
She shared her love of gardening with her children and painted oil paintings of just about everything outdoors for many, many years. All of her children and grandchildren have multiple paintings hanging throughout their homes.
