Lilianito "Lito" Cabelin Badiable's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Lilianito “Lito” Cabelin Badiable, who left us on February 1, 2025 at the age of 79. Lito was a man whose kindness, generosity and joy for life touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.
As a father, he was a guiding light, always providing love , patience, and a sense of fun to those around him. His laughter was infectious and his playful spirit brought warmth and joy to family gatherings. He had a remarkable ability to make people feel valued, listened to and cherished.
A brilliant and compassionate man, Lito pursued Medicine in order to help others in his impoverished community, or barrio in the Philippines. It was his genuine care for people that truly defined him. When he immigrated to the USA, he could no longer practice medicine but his brilliance contributed to his success as a microbiologist for the next 30 years.
Outside of his career, he was known for his sense of humor, love of adventure, and deep love for his family. Whether through his trips all over the world and the United States with his beloved Precy or a shared moment of laughter, he found joy in the simplest things and taught us all the value of living life to the fullest.
He leaves behind his loving spouse Priscilla, children Eunice, Eugene, and Eulysses and grandchildren Quinten, Ryan, Julien, Ava, Mason, Emma, Sophia , and Aden, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home on March 21, 2025 from 11am - 2pm, where friends and family are invited to share memories, stories and the laughter that Lilianito so dearly loved. Reception with food and drinks immediately following the memorial service will be held at the address below:
