Lilian Pyatt's Obituary
Lilian Pyatt, age 92, died at Tacoma Lutheran Home on June 15, 2013.
Lilian was born February 16, 1921 in Barnstaple, North Devon, England to Rose & Ernest Shaddick. Lilian served in the British Army during World War II and met and married Marcus Pyatt during that time. When the war ended she moved to Thompson Falls, Montana to be with her husband. They later moved to Tacoma, Washington. Lilian worked for the Rhodes Department Store downtown for many years until it closed. She belonged to the ladies auxiliary, Carpenters Local 470.
She is survived by her sister, Enid Barnes; brother, Douglas Shaddick in England. Her daughters, Christine (Peter) Webber, Bonnie (Robert) Jordan and four grandchildren, Corinne Dobbins, Justin Webber, Kyra Dalin, and Erin Jordan-Broderick; five great-grandchildren, Spenser, Sydney, Devoney, Colin and Jocelyn; and many nephews and nieces. Lilian is preceded in death by her parents, brother Godfrey, sister Brenda and husband Marcus.
Lilian loved the outdoors working in her garden and flower beds, knitting and reading.
