Lila L. Richmond's Obituary
Lila L. Richmond, 96, of Tacoma passed away October 22, 2021. Born September 3, 1925 in Midland, Lila attended Lincoln High School from 1940-1943. She was a fun and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who valued family above all. She enjoyed oil painting and hosting wonderful holiday parties. She and her husband, Evan, were longtime members of the International Pot and Kettle Club where they developed lifelong friendships. She is survived by her daughters Susan Richardson and Sally Makfinsky; sons-in-law John Richardson and Steve Makfinsky; grandchildren John Evan Richardson, Reed Richardson, Melissa Campbell, Calvin Makfinsky, and Andy Lundale and their partners. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren: Emily, Nathaniel, Reed Evan, Luke, Caitlyn, Jake, Evan, Dagi(Ayana), Maverick, and Aria. In addition she is survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her spouse of over 70 years Evan W. Richmond , her son Randy Richmond, her six sisters and her two brothers. She will be interred at the Tahoma National Cemetery along with her husband.
