Liam D. McCormick's Obituary
Liam D. McCormick, 24, passed away December 24, 2023 at Fort Lewis, Washington.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland to Teresa and Ryan McCormick. Liam was an avid lover of music,
animals, and the outdoors. He enjoyed time with his siblings going shark tooth hunting, fishing,
skateboarding, cooking, and music. He and best friend Brendan would share family game
nights, movies, playing in band, and rollercoasters.
Liam Joined the Army after high school and climbed the ladder to Sergeant. He received many
accolades and most recently was very proud to have passed the Security plus IT Certification
exam.
Liam dedicated his life to serving our country, providing guidance and leadership to his fellow
soldiers, while raising 2 beautiful daughters with his wife Mya.
He is survived by his daughters Olivia and Charlotte. His wife Mya. Parents Teresa and Ryan
McCormick, Kathy Maloney. His siblings Kyle, Caitlin, Sydney and Teagan. As well as
grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and several cousins.
The family would like to thank and recognize all the friends and soldiers that have supported
and guided Liam throughout his journey of life. Remember him for the great experiences and
the laughter you shared.
