Leverita Turner, born August 21, 1929 in Lawton, OK went to be with the Lord, April 18, 2006. Affectionately known to family and friends as Â"Dollie PieÂ". The mother of 10 doting children, grandmother of 23 and great-grandmother to many children.Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her parents the Rev. Julius C. Grant and Sophie Baldwin-Grant, husband of 53 years Arthur L. Turner, daughter Josphine Turner, and siblings Vernal Jenkins, Emanuel Grant, Rev. A. L. Grant, Octavia Abrams, JC Grant, Sewilla Kelly, and McKinley Grant.She is survived by sisters Vera Anderson , Chicago, IL, and Pearlie Moses, Washington D.C., children Rev. Herbert E. Turner, Columbus, OH, Howard L. Turner Sr., University Place, WA, Gayla A. Moody, Buffalo, NY, Myra J. Turner, Tacoma, WA, Jerome K. Turner, Tacoma, WA, Joan K. Forsythe, Wichita, KS, Twila L. Mayo, Buffalo, NY, Rev. John C. Turner, Sierra Vista, AZ, Elverita M. Kerns, Beaufort, NC, and Patrick N. Turner, Wichita, KS.Visitation is Saturday, April 22 from 11 AM to 9 PM and Sunday, April 23 from 11 AM to 9 PM at Mountain View Memorial Park. Services will be held at 11:OO AM on Monday, April 24, 2006 at MT. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. Â"Behold, I show you a MysteryÂ...we shall not all sleep.
