Leticia A. Wade's Obituary
Lety Wade, a beloved, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away on October 7, 2023 at the age of 75. Born on October 12, 1947, on Cantanduanes Island in the beautiful Philippines, Lety’s life was a testament to the enduring strength of the human spirit and the boundless capacity of love.
For 37 years Lety shared her life and love with her devoted husband, Michael. Their marriage was a testament to the enduring power of love and commitment. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and love.
Lety was a loving and devoted mother who dedicated her life to raising her three beloved sons Brian (Benji), David and Danny. She offered them unwavering care, support, and unconditional love. Her legacy lives on through them, as they carry forward the lessons and love she shared.
In addition to her role as a mother, Lety, more than anything loved being a grandmother or Lola to her six grandchildren. She found joy in spending time with them and sharing stories with them. Among them, she shared an especially close bond with her youngest granddaughter, Lila, who had the privilege of living with her. Their day-to-day interactions were filled with love, laughter and invaluable lessons, creating a deep and special connection that enriched both of their lives. Together they formed memories that will forever be cherished.
Lety in true Filipino fashion was known for her cooking and her love and desire to feed anyone that came into her home. She delighted in preparing delicious traditional dishes, the delectable aromas filling her home. The memories of those shared meals will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have tasted her creations.
Lety leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and compassion. She is survived by her loving family including her husband Michael Wade, children Brian Burger (Teresa), David Burger (Paula) and Daniel Burger, and her grandchildren Evan Burger, Owen Burger, Hayden Burger, Danielle Burger, Sidnye Burger and Lila Burger and her cherished friends.
As we say our final goodbyes, we remember the love and care she bestowed upon us and find solace in the beautiful memories she created. May you rest in Peace Lety. You are now reunited with your beloved sister Josie who went before you. Your memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known you.
