Letha Louise Scott's Obituary
Letha Louise Scott 1921 - 2009 Letha Louise Scott passed away peacefully on March 16, after a brief illness, at the young age of 87. Letha was born in Weatherford, Texas; her family moved to the Pacific Northwest when she was a young girl of thirteen. Following graduation from Puyallup High School in 1939, she met and married W.C. Scott (Scotty), also a native Texan, in 1940. She was always a dedicated mother and homemaker; later in life she enjoyed working as a finance clerk, for the Federal Post Office in Tacoma, WA. After retirement, Letha and Scotty loved spending time with family, tending their beautiful yard, mall walking and traveling. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years; her parents, sister and brother. Letha is survived by her daughter, Donna (Ed) Romjue of Bellingham; son, Wayne (Judy) Scott of Tacoma; four grandchildren, Kevin Scott of Puyallup, Scott (Shara) Romjue of Lynden, Shannon Scott of Las Vegas and Curtis (Grace) Romjue of Seattle. In addition, she has three great grandchildren from Scott and Shara. She will be dearly missed by ALL who had the opportunity to know and love her. A celebration of Letha's life will be held in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View on Monday, March 23rd at 12pm, followed by a gravesite prayer. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation (to honor her loving husband) in her name.
