Lester G. White's Obituary
Lester G White was born in Decatur IA on 2/14/1918 and passed away 3/5/2010 in Tacoma WA at 92. He is survived by his wife Mary E White, his daughter Evelyn deFreitas (Dennis) and son Les White (Janice). Lester's 6 grandchildren: Connie Parchman, Carrie deFreitas, Matt White (Laura), Thomas White, Courtney Carrara (Brian Sielski) & Elizabeth Costanti (Stephen). Lester & Mary married in Worland WY in 1939 then moved to Vancouver WA in 1942 where Lester worked building liberty ships to support the war effort. After the war Lester worked for Crown Zellerbach for 38 years then retired in 1981 to their dream farm in Hot Springs AR. They spent 7 years working the farm & 10 years traveling in their motor home. Lester most enjoyed his time on their farm. Services will be held in the Mt View Celebration of Life Center on Monday March 15, at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Lester White Memorial Fund at HopeSparks ( www.HopeSparks.org )
