Lester Andrew Johnson's Obituary
Les A. Johnson was born 12-1-17 and passed peacefully, by God's grace and mercy, 4-19-09 at home surrounded by his devoted, loving wife of 68 years, Marion, Snookie and his family. He is survived by their 4 kids, Kathy Brownfield and Sam Spaid, Mick and Mary Johnson, Dee Dee and Bob Carlson, Dave and Cynthia Johnson, 8 grandkids and 8 great grandkids. For years Mom faithfully cared for Dad because of diabetic complications and dementia. The past year first grandchild, Cynthia Brownfield, has adoringly card for both Mom and Dad. Being a self-made man, Les worked his way up in Hart Construction Co., becoming co-owner and president, bidding and installing the majority of waterfront pilings in Tacoma and Longview. He loved family, boating, golfing and gardening in that order. Our lives are full of treasured memories of camping, boating, 4th of July parties and holiday celebrations in their lovely inviting homes. It's been a rich life enjoying our parents. Remembrances in his name to Franciscan Hospice or food banks. We express gratitude to Hospice for lovingly assisting us. No service.
