Leslie R. Hansen's Obituary
Les was born Nov. 25, 1917, in Dagmar, Montana and passed away Sept. 20, 2005, at home in Lakewood, WA. He was raised by his parents Ted and Emilia Hansen in Northeastern Montana where he met Iona Petersen. They were married in 1941 in Tacoma, WA. The Army took him to Ft. Lewis, WA; where he served his country proudly.After leaving the Army Les was sales manager for Birchfield Boiler and Ace Furnace in Tacoma. Before retiring he moved to California for a brief period and was marketing manager for Ace Buehler Co. for seven years where he retired. Les is preceded in death by one son, Larry Hansen, one sister Rosella and is survived by his wife Iona, brother Chet, sister Dorothy, sons Les T. and Loren R. Hansen, daughter Lynne Adelman, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to hospice or your favorite charity.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sat. Sept. 24, at the Mountain View Funeral Home Valley Chapel.
