Leslie M. Fitzpatrick's Obituary
Leslie M. Fitzpatrick, 89, passed away on February 14, 2015 in Woodland, WA. She was born on February 8, 1926 in Seattle, WA to Mark L. and Francis W. (Wingert) McCoy.
Leslie graduated from Franklin High School in Seattle and attended Seattle Pacific University. She later went on to Bates College where she learned to work those new age computers. Before retiring, she worked as a bookkeeper for Enumclaw Hospital.
She was a master quilter earning numerous blue ribbons over the years at the Puyallup Fair. In her final days, she made special tie quilts for her family members for Christmas. Her family will always remember her love of the simpler things in life; making homemade pies, going to Puyallup for flats of strawberries to make jam, playing cards and going to a baseball game. Mom, we love you and will miss you.
Leslie is survived by her children Vickie (Gordon) Noyes and Tom (Nina) Fitzpatrick; grandchildren Sarah (Rob) Townsend, Jamie (Barett) Willette and Mandy Peters; great-grandchildren Jay, Quinn, Morgan and Whyatt. She was preceded in death by her husband Don and son Joe.
Private inurnment will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery.
