Leonard H. Kleckner's Obituary
Leonard Kleckner was born Dec 27, 1920 in Erie, PA, and passed away quietly in his sleep July 28, 2005. He retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years of service as a Sgt. First Class. He served during World War II and the Korean War. He fully retired after 17 years working at the VA Hospital at American Lake.Leonard is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth. He is also survived by daughters Lillian (Larry) Black, Diane (Kent) Anderson, Mary (Dennis) Cargill; as well as sons Jerome Kleckner and Patrick (Kelly) Kleckner, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Paul Kleckner.Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, Aug 1, 2005, at Mountain ViewÂ's Valley Chapel. There will be a private burial at Tahoma National Cemetery.The family wishes to say a special thank you to the St. Joseph Hospital Dialysis Unit.
