Leonard George Stroh's Obituary
Leonard Stroh Our beloved "Len," husband, father and friend, was called to heaven on November 6, 2008. He was born April 17, 1945, in Tacoma and graduated from Lincoln High School. Len had a dynamic personality and a smart business sense which served him well as a salesman in his early career. He combined these skills with his expertise as a master carpenter to start and grow Stroh Construction, where he often worked side by side with his wife and sons. Len enjoyed life to the fullest. Any new adventure or hobby he pursued was approached with dedication and enthusiasm. "Half-way" was not in his vocabulary. Len loved motorcycles, snow skiing, camping, fishing, crabbing B and even a raw oyster on occasion. He took much pleasure in his membership at the Lakewood Elks. There will be a big hole in many people's lives without Len, but the great times spent with this good man, wonderful father and fun-loving loyal friend will never be forgotten. Len is survived by his wife, Christine, of 43 years. They were true sweethearts and the love of each other's life. Len is also survived by his children Jeff and Matt (Alana), his sister Violet (Renee), Aunt Olinda Hoffman and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father George and mother Pauline. A memorial will be held at Spanaway Lutheran Church, 16001 A St. South, on Sunday, November 16, at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity, or a memorial contribution at any Key Bank, c/o Chris Stroh.
