Leonard and I worked together at TSA at the South Checkpoint. I was his supervisor and he was one of my best leads at the time. I could always depend on Leonard to get the job done, and done right. I remember the talks about football and his love of the Washington Redskins. He spoke often about his family and how much they meant to him. He looked forward to his trips back to Maryland to see them.
After I left TSA he and I still stayed in touch. He was so happy when he met and then married the love of his life. I was very proud of him when he made supervisor. There were few who deserved it as much as he did.
Leonard always had a smile on his face and brightened my day whenever I saw him.
He will be missed greatly by all who worked with him. Gone too soon. He and I had the military connection as well. He was very proud of his time spent in the service.
I still can't believe you are gone. Rest in peace my friend.
Sincere condolences to his wife and family. He was a sweetheart.
