Leonard Causey's Obituary
Leonard “Ray” Causey was an active and hard working 70 year old entrepreneur born on Sept 28 1952 in Bogalusa, LA. He was one of 16 kids born to the late LJ and Ida Causey, with an additional Seven siblings from LJ to total 22 brothers and sisters. He relocated to Tacoma, WA in 1971 with his wife Geniell Causey.
Ray was always funny a generally happy man. He was often seen enjoying his life the best way he knew how and dancing around with his family. He loved to dance.
Ray’s untimely passing was May 14th 2023. He is left to mourn by his wife of 52 years Geniell Causey, his 7 kids Darrell Causey, Monroe Causey, JaNae Harris, Corlencia Causey, Anthony Rose, Aaron Rose, and Ni’Jarae Causey. His 22 grand kids one of which are deceased, his 37 great grand kids 2 of which are deceased, and a host of friends and family.
Ray was so loved by his family, friends, and members of his community. He will be greatly missed.
