Leona I. Rodahl
Leona I. Rodahl went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2012. She was born August 24, 1920 in Sumner. Leona was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Einar, daughter Myrna (Don) Skinner, parents Bert and Alice Filkins, brothers and sisters Irene Geymer, Vern Filkins, Bessie, Ammann, Earl Filkins, and Dorothy Dey Morey. Leona is survived by sons Larry (Zelda) and Ron (Starr), 7 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. We are thankful for the many neighbors and friends she enjoyed while living at Life Manor in Tacoma. We also appreciate the care she received her last few days at Lili's Family Care in Puyallup. A memorial will be held at the Life Manor Independent Living Building, 1601 South Union, Tacoma, 1:00pm Saturday, March 24, 2012.
