Leona Haskell Johns' Obituary
Leona Haskell Johns, age 92, was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on August 18, 1918 and went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2010. She spent her early childhood in Florida and California before coming to the Tacoma area in 1924. A graduate of Stadium High School, Leona married Fred Johns in 1941 and worked as a bookkeeper for Meadowsweet/Formost Daries. Leona is survived by her son Mark Haskell Johns of Tacoma, daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Ken Andrews of Bellevue, grandchildren John Andrews of Renton and Stephanie Gramann of Park City, UT, and great-granddaughters Marie Andrews and Adley Gramann. A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 1, 2010 at 11 am at Faith Presbyterian Church, 620 South Shirley Street, in Tacoma.
