Dear Martie and family,
I am just so very sorry about Lenny’s death. What a bright light has gone from the world.
I know my brother Buz is devastated, as well. What a good, long, and cherished friendship they shared!
Lenny was just so very special, so kind, and funny. I remember I once said to my brother, “Lenny doesnÂ’t have a short manÂ’s complex.†And Buz said, “Yeah, Lenny doesnÂ’t know heÂ’s short.Ââ€
And in truth, Lenny got it right all along He was a big man – a big person, in all the ways that really count. That came through loud and clear.
My heart goes out to you all. Lenny is gone way too soon.
May you and your family find comfort in the knowledge that Lenny is no longer suffering and that he will never, ever really leave you. May you also find comfort in the knowledge that just as Lenny gave you love, acceptance, dedication, loyalty, and fun, you returned it to him in kind. He was lucky to have you in his life, just as you were lucky to have him in yours. He loved and was loved. His blessings were many.
Those of us blessed to have known Lenny just wanted the show to go on. And it will, in another way. The frame is now around the picture, making it even easier to see what a truly inspiring person Lenny was. He will not be forgotten. He will be held in our hearts forever. And if we get to pick those with whom we associate on the other side, IÂ’m asking to be floated over to the section Lenny is in.
Sincerely,
Andrea “Andy†Hoke Veach
