Lena Jewell ButlerLena Butler, 77, of Tacoma, passed away November 11, 2004. She worked for Northern State Hospital from 1955 to 1971 and at Western State Hospital from 1972 until 1987 when she retired.She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and involved in AWANA, and an active member of RPEC of Washington Retirees. Her husband, of 45 years, Orval, preceded her in death in 1990. She is survived by her daughters Sandra Komac (Dave), and Kathy Butler (Mike), 6 grandchildren Kari (Jim), Steve (Dawnell), Eric, Tiffany (Jason), Kristina (Keith), and Misty (Kevin), and 10 great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be 2:30pm TODAY, Saturday November 13, 2004, in Mt. View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
