Legalo Steve, a beloved mother, friend, and caregiver, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, in Spanaway, Washington, just days shy of her 83rd birthday.
Born on August 28, 1942, in Nu'uuli, American Samoa, Legalo carried the warmth and strength of her island heritage throughout her life. She dedicated her career to serving others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), offering compassion, dignity, and care to countless individuals and families. Her gentle spirit and unwavering commitment to helping others made her a cherished presence in every room she entered.
Legalo’s life was marked by quiet resilience, deep faith, and unconditional love. She was known for her nurturing heart, her wisdom, and her ability to make everyone feel seen and valued. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
