Lee Richey's Obituary
OTIS RICHEY
Otis Richey Died September 23, 2009 at the age of 85. He grew up in Arkansas and married his high school sweetheart in 1942. They moved to Shelton, WA. He proudly served in the Air Force during WW II, then returned to Shelton, where he worked at Simpson Timber Company for 26 years. In 1968 he moved to Tulsa, OK, where he was in business until his retirement. They retired in Sequim, WA, and later moved to the Tacoma area. He was a man of deep faith in God and peacefully departed this life to be with his God. Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 67 years, Opal, four children, Kathy (Roy), Patti, Greg (Barbara), and Steve (Ann), nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by granddaughter Andrea, and son-in-law Chet. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Tacoma Lutheran Retirement Community Chapel, 1301 N. Highlands Parkway, Tacoma WA 98406.
