Ledget Chapman's Obituary
Mr. Ledget Chapman, 69, of Bremerton passed away peacefully on May 5, 2016.
Ledget was born October 17, 1946 in Waynesboro, MS and in his early thirties made Bremerton, WA his home. Ledget served in the US Army and fought in the Vietnam War.
He worked in construction and retired from SCI as a pipelayer. He remained an active outdoorsman until his death and enjoyed fishing, gardening, constructing things, and cooking for friends and family.
He is survived by his son Ledget Earl Chapman, daughter Angela Chapman, son Joshua Chapman, and son Lawrence Smith including 9 grandchildren. He is also survived by brother Johnny (Troy) Chapman of Bremerton, Mary (Ernest) Jones of Waynesboro, MS; Lucy Nelson of Waynesboro, MS; James (Brenda) Chapman of Mansfield, TX; Danny (Vera) Chapman of Waynesboro, MS; Annie Chapman of Albany, NY; and Shellie Chapman of Albany, NY. Along with a host of nieces and nephews.
