Lea Weitzel AchzigerLea Weitzel Achziger was born on July 16, 1918 to Henry and Catherine Weitzel in Winsor, CO. Lea passed away Monday March 10, 2003. She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence, daughters: Connie Nelson and Charlene Crystal, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters. Lea is survived by Clarence (Jan) Achziger, Sharon (Bob) Anderson, 16 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. LeaÂ's adult life was centered around her family, contented as a home maker and care taker. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved bowling, playing baseball, and gardening. She was a past member of Peace Lutheran Church of Tacoma and Puyallup.Our family wishes thank the nurses, staff and hospice at Heartwood Extended Care for the excellent and loving care of our mother. After many years of the devastation of AlzheimerÂ's she is at peace and rejoined with dad and her Lord.
