I met Lawrence last year when he moved to Puyallup in my block. He introduced himself as Lawrence but said "my biker friends call me LT." We exchanged numbers and when he called I said "hello Lawrence," and he told to call him LT because no one calls him Lawrence except his mom. I told him, I'm going to call you Lawrence because I like Lawrence:):) We became friends. Everyday Lawrence would pass by my house, I knew it was him because I could hear the pipes on his truck or the music on his motorcycle. I started noticing I didn't hear him passing by my house anymore, and wondered if he was alright. I called him several times to see if he was ok but never received an answer. I passed by his house a few times to check and could see from the back it was very dark in his home. I couldn't stop wondering why I had not heard from back from him or seen him, and today something told me to look in the obituaries and I'm just finding out he passed away. Lawrence was a very kind man who offered me a hand whenever I needed one. We had some great conversations about his boys, mom, his cars, motorcycles, his dog Blue, and he often sent me pics of food he cooked and I would tell him how good it looked. He also sent pics of his motorcycles. He would always ask when were we moving to Virginia or Texas because I kept telling him I was moving from Seattle to either Texas or Virginia. I'm so sorry and sad to hear of his death. I knew something was wrong when my roommate mentioned she hadn't seen him passing by. I'm going to miss our talks and hearing his truck pass by my house. The last time I talked to him he sounded great so learning of his death totally took me by surprise! My condolences to his family and sons. I hope Blue is being taken care of. That was his heart. RIH Lawrence, I will miss our talks over the phone, your friend Dolly
