Lawrence (Larry) WalkerLarry was born September 12, 1929 in Long Beach, CA, and passed away August 27, 2003 in Tacoma, WA.Larry retired from U.S. West after 38 years of loyal service. He always enjoyed helping others, telling stories, bartering, and sharing his time with all of those he loved. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and was active in their volunteer programs. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ann. He is survived by his sister, Barbara (Jim) Thompson; son, David Walker; daughters, Lisa (Tom) Britto, Shelda (Kent) Winschell, and Robin (Mike) Rizzo; grandchildren, Dana, Kyle, Kaydee, Dylan, and Cheyenne; his Â"adoptedÂ" son, Dave Duncan; Cleo the dog; and many extended family and friends.A special thank you to Patsy Crane for all the love and support shared between her and Larry over the years.Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 9 P.M., Monday, September 1, 2003 at Mt. View Funeral HomeServices will be at 1 P.M., Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at the Mt. View Valley Chapel.
