Larry Belsvik....What a great Father-in-Law. This picture with his smile and coffee cup describes him perfectly. Always friendly and never a lack of good conversation. He loved all of his kids. The picture was taken on a fishing boat in Ucuelet B.C. His son,nephew, son-in-laws, grandkids, and my dad were with him. Who knows how many fish we caught, we were together, thats all that mattered. I thank him for all the good advice. I counted him as a friend. A nice guy but he had enough "cop" in him that he could "take you out" if you messed up. Larry and I became well-acquainted in 1948-9 at which time I, too, rode a three-wheeled motorccle as a traffic (parking enforcement) officer. Our TPD paths parted thereafter, but we shared the TPD experience on into the 1970s. Larry was a pleasant guy to work with, always smiling and seldom out of sorts about anything.
