Lawrence J. Hooley's Obituary
Lawrence J. Hooley, 61, of Pacific passed away February 7, 2017. Born on Castle Air Force Base in Merced, CA, Larry lived many of his younger years on air bases eventually settling in Phoenix, AZ. After deciding that Arizona was just too hot, Larry made his last move to the Seattle area in the mid-1970s. Larry is survived by his wife, Marivic. He is also survived by his mother, Dorothy Van Asten, father, David Hooley, two brothers, Michael and Kenneth, a half-sister, Elizabeth Baggerly, three children, Elizabeth Hardin, David Hooley, and Jessica Hooley and one granddaughter, Magdalene Hardin. He is preceded in death by his half-sister, Andrea Kaylor and son, Joshua Feldman- Berutto. Larry was employed as a parts manager by Larson Motors, an endeavor that he truly loved. Larry loved the Washington life with a wide variety of activities including fishing, woodworking, coin collecting, traveling (particularly if a coastline was involved), watching his beloved Seahawks and Mariners, and simply spending time with a wide circle of friends. A memorial service will be held in the Garden Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood, Friday, February 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
