Our heartfelt condolences for your loss, Wilma. I'm sorry that we couldn't be present at Larry's funeral, but we were able to follow the webcast online and appreciated being able to see family members telling their stories.

This is a precious day to celebrate Uncle Larry's life. He was inspirational in his love for Aunt Wilma and never missed a family holiday. I loved his smile when he knew he'd taught me something I didn't know. He was an expert in all things political and will go down in the Republican Hall of Fame for his staunch support for God and Country. Uncle Larry was a kind, gentle, thoughtful, warm person who I always enjoyed talking to, going fishing or clam digging with. He inspired me with all their travel adventures and mountain climbing experiences that he shared with us though out his life. Uncle LarryÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s love for the outdoors and travel defiantly rubbed off on me. Seemed like every Christmas or Thanksgiving we would have a new slide show that captured and shared with us their latest interesting travel adventures along with sitting in the dark because the projector bulb had just burned out or someone had just tripped on the plug. Whenever the celebrations were at Uncle LarryÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s house he always remembered to bring out the specialty of the meal, pickled herring. A tradition from the old country, which I learned to love along with a house full interesting travel treasures from all over the world. When I was young he taught me how to fish. I remember staying overnight in his Crescent lake cabin and getting up what seemed like way too early to make our catch on opening day. Then later, we would fest on our spoils with lots of pan fried fresh rainbow trout in butter which tasted so good. He was always there. A kind support with a gentle laugh when then things always didnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t go right. I loved hearing about his experiences in the war and debating with him over the latest political nonsense that was going on.
