When I walked in and he’d say..good morning sunshine 🌞.. But best memory was watching him dote on his wife Ann and the girls. It was just so adorable. “I see Ann out there, please go see she’s okay” meanwhile Ann is out on the patio minding her business 😊. “It’s quiet around here today” that was his word for, where are the girls.. sometimes he’s ask after them outright. ☺️
When he was concerned that staff was cared for and got home safe and was happy to see as back. Very caring and kind person you were.
He was very strong willed and wanted to do everything the right way.
Larry, in that short time I knew you, I was able to see a great sense of love, kindness and respect from you to us all.
Best part of my job was watching how you doted on your wife Ann and the girls. A true reflection of self. It was an honor and privilege to have cared for you right to the end. I didn’t say goodbye that evening I left and still, this is not a goodbye, but more of a see you later. What separates us from our loved ones is time. Rest in perfect Peace Sir!

I never saw Larry get mad, only irritated if someone was wasting time. He was always such a calming presence, easy to talk to, and a delight to be around. Attached is a picture of "fun Larry". Way back when the Steilacoom Lake Lagoon was frozen over. That's Larry posing for the camera on one leg. An amazing man, a great man.
