Larry was and always be in my mind the warm hearted and caring friend. He always was a laugh to be around. I remember an occasion where we met at the Commissary one time, I was picking up some groceries and I saw him walking down the aisle. We started talking about our life in the ARMY and next thing you know, 45 minutes have already passed and my cart that someone thought I abandoned was taken away and returned.
I also remember the time he was teaching me about some new equipment the National Guard was getting. I was unfamiliar with operating it and he assured me that I'd be alright with operating it. Just push the start button and go and have some fun. I returned the truck all muddy that day, Boy was it fun.
I will miss all the funny stories and our little adventures in the Guard.
My condolences to Aida and his Kids and family
