Lavon Lydia Murry's Obituary
LaVon (Bonnie) Lydia Murry, 84, of Tacoma, died peacefully at home Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Bonnie is survived by her brother Bob Kuster, her sister Irene Moore both of Caldwell, Idaho, and her children, Kathleen, Ken, Daniel, Patricia, Stephen and John. Bonnie is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jimmy Lee Blair and LaVern (Vernie) Kuster, and her husband, Dave.
Bonnie was born November 21, 1929 in Shelton, Nebraska to Fred and
Margaret Kuster. She graduated from Mitchel High School in Mitchel, Nebraska in 1947. Shortly after, Bonnie worked in Portland, OR. Bonnie was a dedicated mother who unselfishly raised her 6 children and equally loved Dave’s 6 children. Bonnie enjoyed a bowling league, a leader for 25 years in Campfire, and working on family genealogy. She also enjoyed camping with her family, road trips, and visiting relatives in Idaho and Nebraska. Bonnie was especially close to her aunts, whom she regarded almost as sisters. Bonnie loved her family dearly and kept current on all. Visits with Bonnie included the latest news for nearly every member of the extended family.
