Lavern Kerner's Obituary
Vern was born in Gregory, SD Nov. 17, 1942 and passed away Feb. 22, 2013 at home surrounded by loving family. He served in the U.S. Army from 1964-1966 and was deployed in Vietnam. Vern worked at Boeing for 44 years as a Quality Control Inspector.
Vern was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. He is survived by; his wife, Diane Patrick Kerner, son, David (Sarah) Kerner, daughter, Terri (Bryan) Shupe and granddaughter, Stephanie Shupe, brother, John (Kathy) Kerner, sister, Filena (Daniel) Miller, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wed., Feb., 27th, 11AM at the Mountain View Garden Chapel, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA 98499. Memorial donations may be made to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
