Mrs. Brown will always be with me. She was and is a very strong influence in my life. Now that GOD has taken her into his arms and care we can love her in a very new and special way. To all the kids, my best of wishes and love, my prayers are with you and your mom at this very difficult time. I will always remember the days in North Carolina when after catching frogs and lizzards those special meals and times with all of you.

My deepest sympathies to all of my cousins and their families. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the service. Aunt LaVaune was alway good about keeping in touch with me even though I had left the state. She had a great capacity to care about others. I will miss receiving her letters. I will remember her always with a smile on her face and a camera in her hand.
(La Vaune was married to my mother's brother.)##imported-begin##Dae Jean Jahnke##imported-end##
To my dear cousins Dale, Jack, Glen, Angie and Annaliese. I'll never forget your mom. She was such a loving, happy person and the best photographer in the family! I will cherish all my memories of her and I will miss her.##imported-begin##Pat Steinberg##imported-end##
I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt LaVaune. All my memories of her were happy ones. I remember Aunt LaVaune telling me about when Uncle Eddie came to visit and kept "tuning" Angie's violin and she got in trouble of having it out of tune.
When my Mom died she told me the she brought a "Box of Fun", because funerals shouldn't be sad. In the box was a Nose & Glasses and a dribble cup. She said that she had known my Mom since she was 8 years old, and she knew she wouldn't want us to be blue. Although it is very sad to lose your Mother, I know that somewhere in heaven she is smiling down on us and "taking pictures". So to my cousins - Dale, Jack, Glenn, Annalise and Angie, just know your Mom will always be with you. You were lucky to have such a terrific Mother, I will miss her.
My deepest sympathies and love to all,
Karol McBride

Aunt Lavaune will live in my memory as one of the sweetest, dearest people I have ever known. She was always so kind and even when I didn't feel like it, made me feel special.
She was the "official photographer" at every family gathering aand made special memories at every "Cousin Fest."
I will really miss her. I know that she and Uncle Jack are having a great time. I know how much she missed him. I can see them sitting at the kitchen table having a good laugh. They are truely soul mates!
I know I will see them again in heaven and I hope that brings comfort to my cousins (Dale, Jack, Glenn, Angie and Annliese) and thier famiies.
I am sorry that I will not be able to be with you tomorrow. I want you to know that I am thinking of you and praying for God's comfort towards you at this time of sorrow.
