Laurine Pangborn's Obituary
Laurine M. Pangborn, 101, born in Tacoma on August 18, 1911, went home to be with her Saviour Jesus Christ on December 31, 2012. She lived in the Tacoma-Puyallup area all her life working as a switchboard operator for over 30 years, and enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, gardening, card games, discussing current events, and Mariner baseball.
Survivors include 4 nieces and 2 nephews, Arleen O'Brien and Janice Bryant of Vancouver, Washington, Linda Fallstrom of Puyallup, Gary Martin of Buckley, Carol Korsmo of Fair Oaks, CA, John Thompson of La Canada, CA; over 35 grand- and great-grand nieces and nephews; and many who treasured her gracious life.
The family wishes to thank Serenity View Adult Family Home, especially Vladimir and Maria Gorospe, for their exceptional care and love lavished on our dear "Auntie."
Graveside service at 12:30 pm. Saturday, January 5th, 2013 in the Mountain View Memorial Park, Lakewood.
