Laura Jeane Trumbly's Obituary
Laura Jeane Trumbly, 62, of Spanaway, WA passed away on July 27th, 2018. Laura, or Laurie as she was more commonly known as, is survived by her husband of 37 years, Daniel L Trumbly; children Evette D Trumbly, Kristen L Trumbly, Matthew L Trumbly, and Michael A Trumbly; grandchild Gage L Sechrist; brother Douglas L Tiedt; dogs Zeus and Beamer; grandpuppies Tyler and Penny; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Laurie was a long time teacher with the Eatonville School District. After her pain made it impossible to continue teaching, Laurie made the difficult decision to retire at the end of the 2017-2018 school year. Teaching was her passion and she leaves behind hundreds of students that will forever be touched by her commitment to the learning process.
In her free time, Laurie enjoyed spending time with family. She and Daniel would frequently go wine tasting, take their boat out in the Sound, or spend a quiet evening at home with her ‘babies’ Zeus and Beamer.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 9th, in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood, WA. Immediately following, a reception will be held in the Oak Room at Mountain View Funeral Home where you can share your stories of remembrance.
Please honor the life and memory of Laura by leaving cherished memories, messages, and photos for her family on the tribute wall.
