Laura Jean Shannon's Obituary
Our precious Momma, Grandma, Auntie, Cousin, family and friends lost a very sweet, kind, caring and loving lady Laura Jean on February 28, 2026. She was just 17 days shy of her 87th birthday, March 17, 1939.
She and our Dad met, fell in love and married February 19th, 1959. They were married for over 53 years. They had 3 daughters DeAnna, Terrie and Karen, 3 grandson Craig (Cilla), Joshua and Kevin (Bailey) 2 Great Grandchildren Clyde and Salem.
Mom was born in Dixon, Wyoming and moved to Tacoma, Washington when she was 5 years old. She was proceeded in death by her husband, John Walter, her parents Joseph and Marjorie, sisters and brother in laws Joan and Ron, Bobby and Roger, Barbra, Frank and Brenda, Mother in-law Eva, nieces Lori Jo and Debbie, nephews Brian and Gary.
