Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother Laupule Luaipou Sulusi born on March 31, 1947 passed away peacefully on April 25, 2024 at the age of 77 at Tacoma General Hospital, Washington due to some complications with her health. She is now reunited with her late husband Lua'ipoumalo Sulusi, her father Talatoa Alo, and her mother Masae Alo. She was a loving and caring mother, who enjoys sewing, gardening, going to church, watching TV series and spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She raised 10 children: Faamusu Brown, Faalua Mikaele, Johnny TienSeng, Po’a TienSeng, Ioane Puni, Solo Sulusi, Okesi Sulusi, Edward Sulusi , Lua’ipoumalo Sulusi and Genesis Sulusi. Alongside with her children she’s a grandmother of 23 and a great grandmother of 24. Laupule was the heart and soul of our family. She always tells us that no matter what we go through in life “Always put God first". She will be dearly missed not only by her family and friends but especially her family in Christ the congregation that she holds dearly to her heart the “Kalevaria United Methodist Church”.
As one Standard Verse said:
Her heartbeat was my very first sound, her kiss was my very first affection, her loving arms brought security. Her instruction – clear direction. I owe the person I’ve become to her unselfish love. There’s comfort knowing that she’s not gone…she lives with God up above.
We love you mom Laupule Luaipou Sulusi.
