Larry Carlet Stanford's Obituary
Our beloved Carlet passed away on May 16th, 2025, in Tacoma, Washington. Born on February 7th, 1953, in Wilmington, Delaware, Carlet filled our lives with laughter, music, and unforgettable moments.
He was a fun-loving soul who always liked to play around. His passion for sports was evident—he loved the Seattle Seahawks and could often be found cheering them on. Music was another of his great loves; he was in a rock band where he sang and played bass, filling our homes and hearts with melodies.
An expert bowler, Carlet spent many happy hours in bowling leagues. He cherished watching television with his stepfather, Hershel Beaird, especially their favorite bowling tournaments. Some of our fondest memories are of him attending the movie theater with his son, Jordan Stanford, where they shared laughs and stories.
Carlet was resilient, confident, generous, compassionate, and hardworking. He taught us the value of perseverance and the joy of simple pleasures. His kindness touched many, and his generous spirit was felt by all who knew him.
We will miss his infectious smile and the way he lit up a room. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the memories we shared and the love he gave us.
He is preceded in passing by his mother, Betty Beaird. His legacy lives on through his son Jordan, his stepfather Hershel, and all of us who loved him dearly. He is also survived by 1 Aunt, 2 Uncles and numerous cousins
Rest in peace, Carlet. You will always remain in our hearts.
