Larry Dean Owens Jr.'s Obituary
With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Larry Dean Owens, a beloved husband, father, brother, son, friend, and light in the lives of everyone who knew him.
Larry had a rare gift for bringing joy wherever he went. His positivity was contagious, his laughter unforgettable, and his kindness endless. He lit up every room he walked into—not just with his smile, but with the warmth and generosity he so freely shared with others.
To know him was to experience genuine love. He gave of himself without hesitation—always ready to help, to listen, or simply to be there when it mattered most. Whether through a thoughtful word, a quiet act of kindness, or his unwavering presence, Larry left a mark on every heart he touched.
He lived his life with open arms and an open heart, reminding us all of the beauty in compassion, the power of love, and the importance of showing up for one another. Larry helped others see the world by being a cornea donor. He also provided hope and healing through the gift of tissue donation.
He leaves behind his loving wife Aria and their five children Dillan 17, Patrick 15, Olive 11, Katherine 4, and Beau 1. They were the center of his world, and their lives are enriched with his unyielding love and devotion. He is further survived by his father Larry Sr., sisters Iolani, Leilani, Evealani, and Miilani, nieces and nephews: Jesse, JJ, Brenya, Elijah, Ethan, Noah, Madison, Kaili, Arianna, Malialani, Lilianna, Makani, Alivia, Junior, Colton, Peyton, Marialani, Benjamin, Moana, Maisy, Matthew, and Essence.
He joins in Heaven his mother Yvonne and brother Patrick.
