Larry T. Nichols Jr.'s Obituary
Larry T Nichols JR, born October 30th 1980 at Elmendorf hospital in Anchorage Alaska to Emily Lassiter and Larry Nichols. He began school in Wildflecken Germany. Larry attended local schools of the area including Lydia Hawk, Nisqually middle school and was graduate of River Ridge High School, class of 1999. He furthered his education by attending highline community college. Larry resided in Olympia, WA. Larry grew up being an active participant in the basketball community and continued with his love for basketball through coaching his sons on their basketball teams. Larry’s love for sports was inspirational to not only his children but also many other players that he was involved with. Larry was always excited about supporting his sons in any activities they were participating in.
He is survived by his parents Emily Lassiter and Larry and Marla Nichols. His two sons Amar’e and Avant Nichols his brother’s Larry Mathew’s and Phillip Craig, his sisters’s Faith Nichols, and Bristen Craig and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Larry had a love for life and his family that was infectious. Larry always had a positive way of looking at life. He always looked at challenges in his life as an opportunity to succeed and move forward in the right direction. His dedication and love for his family is something that will never be lost. We will always remember Larry as the fun, loving dedicated father, son, brother and friend that we all had the privilege of knowing. We will miss Larry everyday but he will always be in our hearts.
