Larry George Laudenglos' Obituary
Larry George Laudenglos, 75, of Spanaway, WA, passed away on April 9, 2025 after a severe case of
pneumonia.
Larry was born on 05/16/1949 to Genevieve Wilson and George Laudenglos in Tacoma, WA. After attending Lincoln High School, he went on to serve in the US Navy and retired as a Chief Petty Officer.
In 1971, Larry married his loving wife of 54 years, Sharon, in Tacoma, WA. Larry and Sharon went on to have four children.
Larry had a special place in his heart for bowling, Gonzaga Basketball and for the Mariners. He enjoyed spending time at home with his family.
Larry was predeceased by his mother, Genevieve Wilson, his father, George Laudenglos, his brother, Joe Laudenglos, and his sisters, Mary Fisher and Gloria Bailey.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Laudenglos, his sisters, Kathy Peterson and Geniene Worden, brother, Ray Hayes, his daughters, Karyn Reyes, Melissa Hammond and Anna Sawyer, his son, John Laudenglos, his four grandchildren, Jordan Reyes, Cameron Reyes, Tristan Hammond and Karley Peters, and his two great-grandchildren London Robak and Riley Robak.
A private ceremony will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an organization Larry strongly supported.
