Larry Allen Jameson
February 20, 1937 to July 4, 2011
Devoted husband, father, papa and a friend to all passed away unexpectedly at home on July 4th, 2011.
Larry was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa and grew up in Tacoma, WA. He graduated from Stadium High School in 1956. He was drafted into the US Army and served 2 years, 2 months and 22 days. Larry worked as a service writer at Tom Carstens Autohaus for 29 years. After retiring he enjoyed golfing numerous days a week and spending time with his girls.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maggie, and their three daughters, Lynn (Mark), Nicole (Purdon) and Maria (Darryl) and granddaughters Sophia, Grace, Hannah, Brittany and Chelsea. He is also survived by his sister Sandy Hansen and sister-in-law Dee Pine. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Maxine Jameson, his brother Jerry and sister Caryle Perry.
Although he is gone, he will not be forgotten. Each and every one of us will remember his smiling face, sense of humor and kind heart. We will continue to love him more than he will ever know.
Memorial mass will be held on Wednesday July 13th, 2011 at 11am at Saint Patrick Church located at the corner of No. 12th & "J" Streets in Tacoma. A reception will follow at Allenmore Golf Course located at 2125 South Cedar Street. Tacoma.
