Lee (Lannie) Scearcy, Sr.
10/12/1949 - 7/29/2008
Lee (Lannie) Scearcy, Sr., veteran, retired City of Tacoma Water Dept. and proud owner of Sir-C's Tavern "Coldest Beer in Town"Epassed away unexpectedly on July 29th from a motorcycle accident. Lee, along with his dear friend Gary Rollings, achieved his longtime dream of riding his motorcycle to Washington, D.C. to pay his respects to the fallen soldiers at the Memorial Wall. Lee was preceded in death by his birth father, Vernon Nicolaysen, and his brother Jens. Survived by his wife Carol, son Robert (Melissa), daughter Deanna (Juan) and son Lannie Lee Jr., and wife Lindsey, grandchildren Paige, Saige, Robert Jr., Rubuen, Chase, Selena, Marisa and Malia, pets Cisco and Cinnamon, parents Everette and Betty, siblings Bernie, Leanna and Pat Darland, Clarissa and Steve Kloser, Matthew and Sherry, Jim and Felicia Nicolaysen, in-laws Sofia Ensoy, husband Leon (deceased), five brothers, two sisters, longtime friend Jerry Gilman and the Prodigies, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He left us doing what he loved, riding his Harley. He also enjoyed his Friday morning ritual drinking coffee with his father, and visiting with his regulars at the Tavern. Life changes, people change, but one thing that will never change is our love for you. In our hearts and prayers forever. Services will be held Monday, August 4, 2008 at 3:00pm in the Mountain View Valley Chapel, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA.
