Lana Lee Diaz's Obituary
Lana Lee Diaz, age 55, died of natural causes and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 3, 2018, in her home in Tacoma, WA. She is survived by her husband Don Winnett, her sons Brandon (Serena), Steven, and her daughter Barbie Winnett (Corey), her grandchildren, Cristano, Darian, Jocellyn (Brandon), Carson, Jaxon, Ariana (Steven), and Bryce (Barbie). Her mother Leanne Farris, her sisters Lisa Cinquini (Richard), Terry Hoffman (Bob), Becky Farris, her brother Billy Farris. As well as the hundreds of people that she has inspired, helped, taken in, and/or cared for.
Lana Diaz was loved by everyone she came in contact with, she was the type of person who people remember their entire lives. Her joy was infectious, her smile and laughter lit up every room she entered. Lana put everything she had into the people around her-no matter who or how long she knew you, she treated everyone like family. Lana loved to live life to the fullest in every way, she enjoyed baking, boating, and anything that involved getting people together. She was able to change your life with a smile. Her dedication to her husband, her kids, and her grandchildren is what fulfilled her the most. She always went out of her way to make a way no matter what, while never asking for anything in return. All she cared about what seeing people smile and having fun. She loved to Love and is the true definition of what being blessed to be a blessing truly means.
We will honor her life at an open viewing and celebration of life on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Mountain View Funeral Home, Memorial Park. The address is 4100 Steilacoom Blvd, SW, Lakewood, Washington 98499.
