Kris is one of my favorite people in the whole world. Just his presence in a room made it better. His afro took me back to my younger days when they were everywhere. He was always good for a laugh or a smile and a warm greeting. He was also very supportive. A few years ago I ran for office and I needed the endorsement of the 27th LD. The committee decided not to recommend me for the endorsement. Kris got up and recommended me himself. When I didn't get the endorsement and I was leaving he followed me out and gave me a big hug. That's one of my best memories. I can still feel that hug.
I met you a couple of times, around Tacoma. I am also a Sonic fan. I will miss seeing you around town.
Such an amazing person who will be missed dearly!
Kris was a ray of sunshine where ever he went. Last saw him at lunch at Ben Dews. He was laughing and making everyone smile. He will be missed by so many. He should be honored when they open the new stadium in Seattle. I hope his wishes of bringing back the Sonics comes true.
