Kristin Heffernan's Obituary
Kristin Andrea (Guardia) Heffernan, 41, passed away in Tacoma, Washington on September 28, 2023. She will be deeply missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all those she impacted with her infectious personality. Kristin was at peace as she was called home to her heavenly Father, ready to spend her eternal life with Him.
Born in Sacramento, California on March 19, 1982, Kristin grew up in Sparks, Nevada. In 2003 she made the decision to move to the Pacific Northwest, quickly making the area her home. Meeting her “Rock” Clinton (Clint) Heffernan in 2005, the two have been inseparable ever since. Giving each other unwavering support in each one of their life experiences. They have two wonderful boys together, Henry (11) and Van (6).
Kristin adored all three of her boys, taking advantage of the infinite adventures the Pacific Northwest has to offer. She would often acknowledge how blessed she was to have such beauty in her backyard, literally and figuratively with Point Defiance in walking distance of her home. She often fell behind on her walks with her family to sneak in a picture of the boys and man she loved with all her heart.
Kristin is also survived by her father, Andrew (Andy), mother, Gina, sisters, Marie and Elizabeth, and many extended family members and friends. The impact she left on so many people, with her smile and laugh resonates in the hearts and memories of so many and will be forever missed.
One of Kristin’s final wishes was to have her boys see how much they are loved and the immense support they have in her absence. All are invited to share love and support with her family and friends on October 14, 2023, at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will take place at OUR Church, located at 5000 67th Avenue West, University Place, WA 98467.
