Kirk Lambert Reisinger's Obituary
Kirk Lambert Reisinger
September 10th,1960 – April 20, 2026
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kirk Lambert Reisinger, beloved son, father, friend, and steadfast companion, who was called to eternal rest on April 20, 2026, at the age of 65 surrounded by his loved ones.
Kirk was born on Septmber 10th, 1960 in Tacoma, Washington, to Donellen and Donald Reisinger, who preceded him in death. He faced his final battle with esophageal cancer, which metastasized to his liver, bone, and lymph nodes, with the courage, dignity, and grace that defined his life.
Kirk spent his early years in Tacoma and graduated from Stadium High School in 1979. He went on to attend Washington State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, a field well-suited to his natural gift for connecting with others and his love of storytelling.
Throughout his professional life, Kirk demonstrated versatility, determination, and integrity. He began his career at the Argus newspaper, refining his journalistic skills, before transitioning into sales. He spent a successful decade at CISSI, followed by eight years at USG, where he sold drywall and building supplies. Kirk later continued his career with Dryvit Systems, where his industry knowledge and commitment earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike and finished his career with Williams Industrial Sales retiring in 2025.
Beyond his career, Kirk valued community and meaningful relationships. While at Washington State University, he was an active member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) fraternity, serving as President and forging lifelong friendships. He also served as the Board President for the Vineyard Cove Community where he loved and called home. Members and community of Vineyard Cove go on in memory as not just neighbors but as friends and deeply cherished memories.
Kirk lived life with enthusiasm and warmth. He was an avid golfer, finding peace and joy on the course, and a devoted sports fan. Seahawks football held a special place in his heart, and one of his greatest joys was sharing season tickets and game-day traditions with his son, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
A memorial service celebrating Kirk’s life will be held on June 27, 2026, at Trophy Lake Golf Course, a place that reflects both his love of golf and his appreciation for the beauty of the world around him.
The Reisinger family extends their heartfelt gratitude to St. Michael’s Oncology and Treatment Center for their compassionate care, as well as to the dedicated Hospice team who provided comfort and support during Kirk’s final days.
Kirk Lambert Reisinger will be remembered for his kindness, warmth, humor, and unwavering strength. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace and with a full heart knowing how much he was loved and respected by his family, friends and all who were lucky enough to have met him.
