Kimiko Illig's Obituary
Kimiko Illig, 81, passed away October 10th 2014 in Tacoma, Washington. She was born on June 1st 1933 in Kumamoto, Japan.
Kim was happily married to her husband Wilbert H.H. Illig Jr for 62 years. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She was a daring young woman who chose to leave her country to follow her husband to America. She did an amazing job navigating her way in her new homeland while her husband was often away serving in the US Navy. Knowing very little English she successfully raised five children.
She is survived by her husband, Wilbert Illig, daughters Rumi Miles, Anna Ridling (Chris), Wilma Nelson (Thomas), and son William Illig, grandchildren Daniel Juhasz, David Juhasz, Stephenie Gasca, Patrick Juhasz (Casey), Johnathan Miles, Jessica Wolfe, Melissa Wilburn, Tara Smith, Cameron Steiner, Andrea Steiner, great-grandchildren Spencer Juhasz, Lucas Juhasz, Connor Juhasz, Angel Gasca, Zoe Gasca, Josette DeRosier, Jessa McCaw, Jaiden McCaw, Jayla Wolfe, Jayna Wolfe, Mykayla Clark, Dee Dee Smith. She is preceded in death by her son Wilbert H.H. Illig, III
Kim was a quite lady who always had kind words of encouragement. She will be missed by all who were touched by her love and kindness.
