Kimberly Joy Hutson's Obituary
Kimberly Joy (KJ) Hutson went to be with her Lord and Savior the evening of October 2, 2014 after a short, but very courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was 53 years old, born in Tacoma on February 17, 1961.
Kim worked for T-Mobile for many years, not only in Washington State, but also in Arizona. When she was not working, Kim would help feed the homeless in Seattle and worked many hours passing out food, socks or gloves to those in need during the holidays.
Kim is survived by her father Dr. M. Phillip Hutson, mother Joyce Hess, brothers David (Karen) Hutson, Stephen (Shelley) Hutson, Steve Hess and Gary Hess, sisters Maleena Brown (Floyd Maxwell), Megan (Kurt) Anderson, and Alyssa (Bruce) Marti, plus many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family. Kim is also survived by her cat, Cooter Brown, and her true friends Becky, Jim and Suzie, who were there to support her until the end.
Kim was a strong person and gave this battle her all. Please remember her when she was strong and able to cause trouble. Her laugh was contagious and when you saw the twinkle of her eye, you knew she was up to something. Besides losing our loved one, the Seattle Seahawks lost one of their biggest fans.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Swedish Hospital for their loving care of Kim.
